Description
RS232 connection cable cable for between the BoatController (NMEA0183) and the PC data (RS232) connection of the class A AIS transponders.
Suitable for the SRT class A AIS Transponders such as:
Em Trak A100, Allewijnse Explorer 4, Oceansat Class A, True Heading Carbon Pro, Raymarine AIS950, etc.
On 1 side with a 9-pin RS232 connector for the AIS (PC data (RS232) connection)
Other side 2 wires stripped and tinned to be placed in the green screw connector of the BoatController.
Class A AIS Transponders can easily be connected to the BoatController by means of their so-called Junction Box with 2 wires, but a number of users have indicated that they do not want to use this junction box and wanted a simple alternative connection option.
In that case, this cable is the solution, because the BoatController uses optocouplers, you have an optimally secured and reliable connection.
