Description

Maximum operational reliability under severe conditions

The Pcnautic Pro Tiller Pilot has been developed for sailors who need to be able to rely fully on their autopilot, even in heavy and demanding conditions. The system combines an internal rudder position sensor with the additional safety features of the Endurance MotorController.

The Pro is intended for racing sailors, solo sailors, and ocean sailors who desire maximum reliability. The system can steer based on the internal compass, wind angle, GPS course, waypoints, and routes. The use of an external compass is also possible.

Configuration and calibration are performed via the web interface on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. In addition to the adjustable rudder limit warning, the Pro features an adjustable current limit and current limit warning. This protects the drive in the event of a blockage or exceptionally high load.

Endurance Motor Controller

Additional hardware and software safeguards against overload, short circuits, and excessive temperature, among other things.

Stirring and current protection

Adjustable stirring and current limits with timely warning before the set limits are reached.

Designed for intensive use

For sailors who are heavily dependent on their autopilot, even during severe conditions and long voyages.

  • Developed for intensive use in demanding conditions
  • Endurance Motor Controller with extensive safety features
  • Adjustable rudder limit and current limit warning
  • Operation via display, phone, tablet, or computer
  • Steering by compass course, wind angle, GPS course, and waypoints
  • Integration with, among others, NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 (in conjunction with BC-Mini-2k), SeaTalk(NG)

Calm and precise on course

The Pcnautic steering software starts correcting early and uses as little rudder deflection as possible. As a result, the boat stays on course more steadily and the propulsion system does not have to make large movements.

The internal 9-axis motion sensor continuously records the course and movements of the boat. In combination with the internal rudder position sensor and the strong, fast TillerDrive, this ensures precise steering, low power consumption, and limited noise.

Extra protection with Endurance MotorController

The Pro combines the TillerDrive with the Endurance MotorController. This version features additional hardware and software safeguards, including extra fuses and protection against overload, short circuit, and excessive temperature.

With the adjustable maximum current, the drive is stopped as soon as the set value is exceeded. The current limit warning can provide a notification even before this limit is reached. The Pro also features the adjustable rudder limit warning. The midstroke is 600–900 mm and the maximum total cable length between the drive and Motor Controller is 2 meters.
