Pcnautic control for your existing drive

The Pcnautic ControlHead & MotorController set contains the complete control electronics of the Pcnautic autopilot, without TillerDrive or Wheel Drive.

This version is intended for sailors who already have a suitable drive system and wish to combine it with the modern Pcnautic steering software and controls. The set is compatible with the Raymarine Wheel Drive, Pcnautic TillerDrive, and Pelagic Tiller Drive.

The autopilot can steer using the internal compass, wind angle, GPS course, waypoints, and routes. Configuration and calibration are performed via the web interface on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The use of an external compass is also possible.

Keep your existing drive

If your boat already has a suitable autopilot drive, it does not necessarily need to be replaced. With this set, you can combine the existing drive with the Pcnautic ControlHead, MotorController, and steering software.

The set is directly compatible with the Raymarine Wheel Drive, the Pcnautic TillerDrive, and the Pelagic Tiller Drive. This makes this version suitable, among other things, for modernizing an existing installation where the mechanical drive can be retained.

For other electric drives, the connection, voltage, current, and control may vary. In that case, please contact Pcnautic in advance.

Control Head and Motor Controller

The ControlHead forms the central control and calculation unit of the autopilot. The internal 9-axis motion sensor continuously registers the course and movements of the boat, after which the Pcnautic steering software calculates the necessary steering corrections.

The MotorController converts these corrections into the control of the connected drive. The ControlHead and MotorController are connected to each other with the supplied 5-meter cable.

Settings, calibration, and tuning are accessible via Wi-Fi with a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
