Linear actuator for DIY projects, equipped with internal rudder position transmitter, midstroke/center position 600mm.

Ideal Linear actuator for DIY projects or as a replacement (spare actuator) for the Pelagic drive.

Advantages compared to the Pelagic drive, 50 mm extra stroke and internal rudder position transmitter, same dimensions.

For a direct exchange, transfer the Pelagic Actuator Bracket and Slide Rod End Piece.

If you transfer the 3Pole Pelagic connector, you will not have the advantages of the internal rudder position transmitter.

To be able to use the internal rudder angle transmitter, you must provide the unit with a suitable plug set with at least 5 pins/poles.

Now with an improved cable entry and a reinforced and improved pushrod guide and seal:

Pcnautic, in collaboration with the sailing forum an improved drive designed for the existing autopilots with an above-deck Tiller Drive.

The biggest advantage of the Pcnautic Tiller Drive is the internal rudder position transmitter.

The internal rudder position transmitter greatly improves performance.

The Drive is quieter, has a longer travel, endstops, solid pushrod seal and guide, no freewheel and lower power consumption.

Maintenance TillerDrive:
It is recommended to lubricate the stainless steel drive rod lightly with a silicone grease after every 24 hours of use. This is available at any hardware store, including under the name Kranenvet.

The dark gray part of the TillerDrive can corrode in combination with salt and humid conditions, so rinse the entire drive with fresh water after use in salt water and store the drive in a dry place in a ventilated area. never put it on, for example, damp mooring lines in the box.
You can also lubricate the entire drive with the silicone grease, make sure it is clean and dry before applying the grease. Due to the silicone coating, water will roll off immediately and the dirt and salt can then easily be rinsed off.

Max. Boat Weight: >7000kg (15000lbs) *4
(*4: Only in combination with the Pcnautic Autopilot!: Due to the smarter and faster response of the Pcnautic autopilot in combination with the longer stroke and static force, the Pcnautic Autopilot is able to keep larger ships and/or ships on course in more difficult conditions compared to the competition, which makes it better suited for smaller sporting ships in tougher conditions where the speed and cleverness of the competition falls short.)
