Description

This product will only be shipped to the owners of a Pcnautic BoatController!

BoatController software version 6 on a SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSDHC card class A1.

Due to the A1 specifications, these cards are more resistant for our use in a raspberry pi.

The new Pcnautic software is based on Raspbian Buster and now comes standard with the new Type 4 BoatController.

With this firmware, you have both the benefits of the BoatController's user-friendly software and the ability to fully “open” the Raspberry pi software.

By default, Open CPN and Signalk are pre-installed and there is limited access via an HDMi monitor and VNC viewer to the desktop, software and basic settings.

After "opening" you also have the pi and root rights, and you can implement any customer-specific wishes yourself, at that time the support will expire.

How to replace SD card BoatController:

1: Make sure the BoatController is not turned on.

2: remove the old card (with tweezers or needle-nose pliers) you can just pull it out, sit in the slot on the right outside when you have the green plug facing you.

3: Place the new one in the same way, make sure it is (well) in it just as far.

4: Switch on the BoatController and leave it on until the pcnautic wifi network is available, which can take quite a while the first time!

5: Connect, go in your browser to webpage 192.168.32.1 log in with pcnautic and password pcnautic, go to the tab config and choose maintenance, click there on the red button with “Reset and factory defaults”

Click on ok and wait until the pcnautic wifi network is up and running again.

After this, the BoatController can be used according to the manual: https://boatcontroller.gitbook.io/type-4/
