With this extra NMEA input you can connect an extra NMEA 0183 instrument, such as GPS, Anemometer, Compass, etc. Ask us what you need for your configuration and the many possibilities!
In BoatController the NMEA IN module is already installed as standard, if you want an extra NMEA0183 input you must use the BC Multiplexer to purchase.
The NMEA IN Module is a fully galvanically isolated optocoupler with a 2 wire differential NMEA0183 input at RS422 level compatible with RS232.
