There are already several solutions that work well for wireless navigation via your tablet. However, the BoatController can do much more!
When you come on board, your smartphone, tablet and PC automatically connect to the WiFi hotspot, so you immediately have access to your navigation data and, if necessary, the internet. The BoatController gives you access to all your instruments at once.
The BoatController is, among other things, a Wifi Multiplexer, Router and Gateway in one, which means that it can connect different instruments and devices and translate the information for different systems and applications.
The BoatController has one NMEA0183 input as standard for your GPS or AIS and can be expanded with one NMEA0183 output for your VHF radio or autopilot.
It has 4 USB connections with which all instruments that have their own USB connection can be directly connected.
Due to the USB connections, it can also be easily expanded with, among other things, more NMEA0183 connections, NMEA2000, Seatalk, Wifi Harbour, see connectivity options
